Wow cam Sep 12, 2009 this cam is great at wat it does any time of day, takes great night time pics, nice lil list of Features, good pics without a flash in the night, n life like when you do enable the flash.. over all kick ass product.
i got it for my brother, and think i'm gonna get 1 for my self in the near future
Recurring problem, L600/L700 lens cover... Apr 17, 2009 I purchased the L600 a couple of years ago and while I was very satisfied with it's performance with regard to shooting, the two little plastic pieces that slide together to cover the lens when it's turned off ceased to close, leaving the lens exposed... Eventually, I gave it to a friend and bought the L700.
Now, 6 months after buying this one, the SAME PROBLEM has happened once again!
When I contacted Samsung, they admitted this is a recurring issue with both the L600 and L700, and didn't have any advice for me except to send it in to their repair center.
One, I'm very busy, I don't feel like being bothered with sending something into a repair center, and being without a camera in the meantime.
Two, this is a RECURRING problem, you'd think they would have changed the construction to avoid this problem when they released the L700, but they didn't... If this was an unusual problem, I wouldn't mind so much, but it's something that should have been addressed before this model was released.
So end of story, this camera is either getting thrown out my window or used for BB target practice... Needless to say, I won't be buying Samsung products again.
GREAT & CHEAP!!!!! Mar 20, 2009 THIS CAMERA IS CHEAP, WORKS & LOOKS GREAT!!! WHAT ELSE CAN YOU ASK FOR? I GOT THIS FOR MY SISTERS BIRTHDAY, SHE IS 14, BUT TO BE HONEST, I WANT TO GET ONE FOR MYSELF. IT WORKS BETTER THAN MY CAMERA.
SO FAR SO GOOD.....
Cheap Camera, Cheap Photos Feb 21, 2009 I just received my camera last week, and haven't yet discovered and experimented with all of its functions, but I've already run into a few problems.
The biggest problem I'm having so far is taking pictures at night. Depending on the flash setting, the pictures either come out really over-exposed, or blurry- and it takes forever for it to even take the pictures! My last camera (Canon Powershot) took very crisp and well-lit night shots, and didn't have a very long lag between pushing the button and taking the picture.
I was very excited when I found this camera online for so cheap and with such perfect reviews. My main point is BEWARE. The camera is cheap- and you get what you pay for.

Samsung L700 - A winner! May 04, 2008 I am not surprised in reading the reviews - all five (5) stars! Best buy for the money. Excellent photo quality - much better than I expected. Samsung holds fast to its reputation. They make good products. Only minor complaint is that the LCD monitor is hard to see in the sun - but I can live with that for the results! Highly recommend this easy-to-use camera.
