Nice when it works Jul 27, 2010
Mine worked for a day, then got horizontal black lines, got a replacement from Samsung which was just DOA. Hopefully next one will work.... Samsung support has been nice, but other than telling me to wait 3 weeks for a replacement...
Next time, I'll purchase it from Costco and return it instead of going through Samsung Service.

I have a dual monitor set up. My P2570HD and a ViewSonic 19" LCD Flat screen monitor, and my new Samsung HD monitor leaves my old one in the dust. My dual set up is for video editing and photo editing (using Adobe CS5). It's a sleek monitor.

This monitor is great for pc use, the resolution is awesome. I gave it 4 stars because I have two computers hooked up to it, and you have to change the input to go from one pc to the other. They should have an auto select when the monitor senses a source. my old feel 19 inch does this.

The two (2) monitors we purchased exceeded our expectations. The clarity, cost, color and size make this product ideal for either professional or home use. If we decide to purchase another monitor in the future, it will be the Samsung Black Rose. We give it FIVE STARS!

Samsung seems to have stoped puting efort into their products. i have this monitor now. it looks wonderfull and the color is amazing. it has serious problems detecting imput from any device. their customer service department doesnt take me seriously when i talk to them.
This is the second problem i have had with this manufacturor. I had a 19 inch one 3 years ago and the warrinty is a standord 3 years. the monitor just died at 3 years and 4 days. Seriously! The repair department told me to send it back to them and they would fix it for free. They got it in the mail and informend me that it was out of warrinty (which i told them it was) and it would cost me 120$ to fix it. so to add insult to injury i cant try to have it fixed another way without paying them to ship it back.
I have decided to go with toshiba from now on. their products are harder to find and more expencive, but i have had nothing but good experiances with all of their products and customer service.
