The TL9 is highlighted by a powerful, internal 5x optical zoom as well as Dual Image Stabilization, which combines both Samsung's advanced Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Digital Image Stabilization (DIS). When selected, OIS and DIS work simultaneously to provide blur-free, detailed images with remarkable clarity.
The TL9 is encased in a slim, metal body, and a unique design element also graces the top of the camera's body - dual analog gauges. The small gauges, located next to the power button, display remaining battery life and memory capacity in a way that's easy for the shooter to access while on the go. Thanks to the enhanced sensitivity of the TL9's CCD sensor, which features a maximum ISO of 1600, and the camera's Dual Image Stabilization, you can rest assured that you'll be able to capture images in low-light situations, especially when the use of a flash is not desired. | | | | | |

 Much wanted camera Dec 28, 2009
Sellor/shipper did fine job. Arrived in most timely fashion, and was well protected in shipping container. I wanted this camera! After a year, the "Bird of Paradise" factor kicked in, and I found my older and okay camera! I had to send the preferred unit back! The sellor was most gracious about giving me an RMA number and credited my credit card right away. Easy to use for a pocket camera and the best features are the two dials on top showing the amount of battery left and the amount left on the SD card. Both are separate from the lcd screen and very easy to check up on the balances of each.

This is a great camera.
Pros:
Takes great-looking photos
No protruding lens = less to damage.
Bright, high resolution screen
5X ZOOM
Can be used as an MP3 player
And... Looks very cool
Con:
Compact but too thick to be a sub-compact

The NV of all Cameras May 10, 2009
The Samsung TL9 (Also known as the NV9) is a great digital camera that is feature packed and should be able to please most people. I had the NV3 before and loved it and I wanted a camera with similar features (like mp3 player, video player, and text viewer). This camera most definitely does everything I wanted and more. The only cons I have are that the camera doesn't take pictures fast enough and the fact that it's advertised as "black" when in reality it's more of an eggplant color. All in all, definitely a fantastic camera for the price.
